In an update on my earlier communications with the liason office, I saw last night that the signs for the pizza night did indeed advertise a pizza night, and not a nite.
There was much rejoicing.
Also, I'm not sure why showing POWs on TV is such a bad thing. OK I understand that apparently the Geneva convention forbids this kind of humiliation, but that sounds like just another reason why I should continue to think that the Geneva convention has a lot of shit in it. (No shotguns for example)
I'm also angry that the US can bitch and moan about this, when they have been showing captured Iraqi POWs by the score.
And for the record their little war on Iraq is immoral. I might at some stage say why, but I thought I should write that down in case I forget or something.
The US getting pissed off at Turkey for invading Iraq, well, it makes NO SENSE. You stupid bastards, Hello? You are invading Iraq why the hell shouldn't Turkey do the same thing. That is what happens when you stop playing by the semi agreed to rules of the game (the UN) and decide to do it on your own, the other players decide to do the same, and yet you gey annoyed? Sod off, you miserable dorks.
In happier news, I'm a "winner" after a bit of Catan action last night. I was kicking arse and taking names (sorta) then James and Teena came a chasing, then James got munted by the unorganised rantings of Ben (and me) and Ben moved into the lead. Things looked bad.
However, Ben was cheating. A lot. We had all wondered how he was suddenly so powerful, and it turns out that it was blatant cheating. (I should have taken note that Waz was helping him) He declared his guilt and there was far more laughter than you would expect, if we had been Ninja we would have cut him to ribbons.
There then commenced a rock, papaer, scissor competiton for winner amongst Teena, James and Myself. (Nic beening a sad little last place guy) I was winner.
Thus I rule.
