I just installed a CD burner into Mum and Dad's machine.
I rule. Mostly as I had to mess with jumpers on the HD to make it not master, not slave, but somethingarather cable dependent. This took much fiddling, and resulted in success. Which was nice. Installed Nero and away we went backing up files o plenty, and of course porn.
Haha, no I did not, why? Well because this is Mum and Dad's machine and the CD burner is actually going to be used for legitimate stuff, such as backing up their hard drive (work files) each week. Fantastic, this makes my thesis swell with pride. Well it doesn't, but sort of.
Yes indeed, a CD burner for legitimate reasons. Eat that RIAA.
