In Property News Today:

  • The Burnshide High School Hall has been demolished. The offices at the front are still there but the hall itself is gone.

The February newsletter (pdf) informs me that:

The school is presently engaged in the establishment of 12 new class-rooms, the shifting of the school hall to a new location in the school, the planning and imminent construction of the new staffroom, administra-tion and library building (expected to commence in May this year), the planning of a new 12 classroom block (construction expected to com-mence in May or June this year),

    ...for those that are interested.

  • The grounds of the former hippy colony occupying Ilam Rd. are finally showing some signs of beginning their dystopic transformation into a sanctuary for the old and infirm.
