Slingshot 0 Paradise 1

I meant to say last week. It is my professional opinion as a consumer that Slingshot are lame. Since shifting to Bounty, I have been using either IHUG or Paradise to connect to the Net, and all has been fine in the world. However, after some confusion Nic's account was finally discontinued for IHUG, and I got fed up with using Mum's connection to Paradise. Also Sam needs a connection as well. So I go and set one up. Slingshot was cheapest by $2 a month, and with no reason not to, I signed up.

Three days later I signed down. And got a full refund. Good. I hate dialup, but at the moment, it, like love, is what I got. I don't need to have my connection dropped every half hour thank you very much. Luckily, I didn't have to put up with it. For I know that for the last few months the other ISPs haven't been doing this, therefore blame the change, and the change was to Slingshot.

Goodbye, thanks for coming. Called helpdesk to find out how to ditch them, and the tech guy was helpful, when he asked why I was cancelling I told him and he agreed that I didn't need that sort of thing going on, and was very understanding. Called the guy I was told to. He asked if there was anything he could do to keep me with them (well trained) and I told him yes, but that I didn't think he could do it, or that the other options were likely to be approved by his superiors.

Left Slingshot. Hello Paradise.

sounds like mike's insurance.

on 10 april, his insurance ran out. of course this was the saturday in the middle of easter.

so he had to get it sorted before we went anywhere (like the shops). ok, so he decided to change from state and go to nzi. something about a cheaper deal and/or ability to pay monthly instalments.

great, said nzi. a few days later comes info in the mail stating nzi policy cancelled as per request and a refund of the money etc.

turns out nzi sent email to state requesting cancellation, but of course state and nzi are the same company, ergo cancelled themselves. heh heh.

not at all like yours really, but, y'know, who cares.
