So I went to McDonald's to get me some Coke. I had sushi, and I needed some of what Dave refers to as the Dark Master(bater) And McDonald's gives us bottomless coke, which is good.
So I (to quote Pete) "rock up" to the counter, ask for a large Coke, and lay down my $2 coin, for the $1.95 product.
But no. "That'll be $2.25" said the trainee. ???? $2.25? Not $1.95? A 30 cents price hike. I ask her "a 30 cent rise?" Yes. She agrees, and indicates she think it is pretty lame.
How about NO! You crazy Dutch bastard (Honourable mention Ben?) So I leave McDonald's (like they care) and wander the foodcourt looking for cheaper coke.
$2.25?! For post mix coke of the 5c a metric tonne variety? BAH!
