Should I end this paragraph so:
For North, “incremental change in the overall institutional framework is more comprehensive than what happens when economic organisations devote resources to changing political rules directly to increase profitability.” {North, 1990 #7, 79} The implication for the RIAA is that lobbying hard to alter and produce laws designed to increase its profitability, is insignificant when compared to the power of the Force.
At this stage I'm leaning towards no, but this time tomorrow, I might not be.
Your votes count!* Comment away my pretties.
*: No they don't. Not now, not ever. One man, one vote baby, I'm the guy with the guns. Hail to the King.
You've got nothing to lose, I say do it.
Posted by: heq on June 29, 2004 12:40 PMyeah do it. Your markers probably won't read it anyway.
Posted by: Quix on June 29, 2004 01:02 PMIf you leave it in, I'll give you a dollar.
Yes, thats right. A whole dollar.
in, but only if you take out the comma after "profitiability". :-)
Posted by: mog on June 29, 2004 01:57 PMNo. Do you really want to take advice from the above? Think about it, man. Say no to peer pressure, the dark side, and leave Star Wars well and truly out of any academic argument.
Posted by: Dave on June 29, 2004 04:35 PMLuth, think of TBALC. TBALC would hold you in awe if you put a Star Wars reference like that in an academic paper.
Posted by: heq on June 29, 2004 05:27 PMI'll raise the bounty by another 5 dollars and my old GeForce 4 MX 440.
That's right baby - I'm throwing in some obsolete hardware.
Posted by: torshin on June 29, 2004 05:47 PMMmmm unexplained donut.
Posted by: Luther on June 29, 2004 07:39 PMIf I see that phrase in your bound, about to be handed in at the Registry thesis, I will provide you with a bottle of tequila.
Awe would indeed be the word.
Posted by: Cardinal on June 29, 2004 09:10 PMI will equal Ben's offering, doubly so if you also add "Suck it" to the end, which apparenly will make them laugh in England.
Posted by: tark on June 29, 2004 11:27 PMAnd another tenner if you can manage to include either "like a bad, bad donkey" or "bring the smackdown upon". $20 plus much respec' if you can get them both in.
Me, I'm settling for getting "developmental Nash Equilibrium". But I'm a nerd.
Well this is good stuff. I certainly have TWO ONE THREE on board (not even as a page number), but this is better than expected.
Posted by: Luther on June 30, 2004 12:42 AMI refuse to renumerate your slackness. Nyah.
