I was thinking last week that we hadn't won anything off of Channel Z is a few weeks, so I promptly won the new Finn Brother's album. But Sara did better.
She won us a trip to Auckland. Thanks Channel Z. Yes. We get to go to the NZ Music Awards ceremony. We get: to stroll down the red carpet, tickets to the Afterparty (which starts at 0100) and additionally, a (silver) PS2. Woot. Oh, and they will fly us up and back. So that is nice.
They were playing "name this guy" every hour on Thursday and by 1000, Sara knew the answer (thanks to some leet Googlefoo) and was calling calling calling. However, they were only taking one answer per hour, and many people were teh suck and didn't know. So she went mad. And got madder and madder till 1700 when she was a winner.

Additionally:
A bomb exploded in Jakarta. Will and Mog are in Bali, which is not near Jakarta, but is closer than say Christchurch is. I knew they weren't in Jakarta, but it was nice to check. So I did. A quick SMS to Will along the lines of "Bomb exploded in Jakarta. Hope you aren't dead" later, and I'm on the recieving end of a confirmation of a non death SMS from Will. Super. Although Mog (the vegetarian) had somehow scored some super salmonella.
