So apparently Montana has some relationship with Blizzard. I didn't know this, but I guess it must be true. We have arrived in Nelson and everywhere I look there are big posters with WOW on them, with the Montana name and crest hovering above them. This is soo freaking cool. World of Warcraft! Here in Nelson. Awesome.
This week at eCosm there has been an install of the stress test and it looks pretty nice and we ran around looking at stuff and going oooh, and aaah. etc. Aden(sp?) even showed us one of his characters going on a Griffen ride. Super. Bring it on I say. (I'm sure they are aiming for pre christmas, but they are Blizzard, so they will no doubt pull the "we never said which christmas" trick)
Anyway, I don't really know what this WOW thing tonight is, but damn it's going to be cool whatever it is. Probably some E3 type videos, some panal discussion maybe? and some hands on time on a beta server? Who knows. I don't, but I'm pretty exctied, and man, I have never seen a city get so into a game. Seriously, there are posters everywhere with this WOW thing. Nelson has gone all game crazy. Which is great to see.
Will report back tomorrow.
