The Blog That Was

Part two in my occassional series of guest editors here at Casa Del Me(o), I give you, the voice of Waz. This took him three weeks to write. He has the mind of a child, so be gentle.

The blog that was

The Internet will end and I know when. Stay tuned.

Hello all, you might remember me, I used to have a website and pretend to blog on it. Now I’ve been enlisted to help others in the same cause. Some stuff, in bullet point format for your convenience.

Grand Events:

Moving House
This weekend will [did] see me shifting house, and lifestyles. I’m officially throwing off the shackles of the evil Landlord and entering the Dungeon of Mortgage, from which I shall not be returning for some time. Fortunately this is more a spiritual and financial incarceration and so my physical self is still free to roam/serve the dungeon master.

New address shall be supplied upon enquiry or more likely, the next time I see you and make you suffer an involuntary regaling.

Multi-sport
Not quite as awesome as a Multi-Pass I shall be cycling, running, abseiling and rafting myself to freedom next weekend (NB freedom from Methven, not the Dungeon). This mammoth task shall take approx. 7-8 hours of back breaking labour, just like Luther’s previous “dungeon” experience. It’s alright man, we know you’re pretty fucking far from ok.

Grand Pursuits:

I’ve starting writing my first fantasy (read LoTR, not 5th Element Milla Jovovich) novel. Needless to say it is slow going but enjoyable, and a long way from test reading (sheath those marker pens). Any ideas will taken under advisement and shamelessly exploited.

Grand Waits:

Where is my beta invitation to World of Warcraft?
They just sent out another round of invites, did I check my email? Sure did.
Did I have an email advising me my long wait was over? Nope.
Did I register for the Beta test in the brief window available? SHUT UP! WE WERE ON A BREAK!

Not so Grand Game: My Doom 3 question, it’s rhetorical.

Why make a game that won’t look good on mainstream PC’s for a year or so then ensure no one will still be playing it then by totally gimping the MultiPlayer?

In conclusion:

I’d like to thank the academy. See you in comments. It’s where I live.

Seriously, THREE WEEKS. However, good show nonetheless.
