Well, after a week and a day I have returned to the cellphoned peoples of the earth. And boy are my arms tired. In the end after much mulling I said to hell with it and bought a cheap little nokia with no camera, no bluetooth, wap or GRPS and certainly no, to quote Dan, "doom plaing, hot and cold running, fresh pressing shoelacing tying wangamaphone" (or something like that, certainly remember that his phone plays frikken DOOM PEOPLE!) anyway, none of that, for I decided it cost too much, too much to begin the training. Maybe if I find some money under a tree I'll hang out on TradeMe or something and get a flasher phone for some kind of geeky goodness, but I sorta "needed" a phone right now not in a few weeks or whatever.
So that sorts that out. Throught the magic of television I still have my same number, which is nice. However I don't have any of yours, because for obvious reasons I don't. Keep that in mind.
Interestingly when I called vodafone to see what the last outgoing action on the old sim/phone was, they would only tell me it was a text message to an 025 number (Glen). Apparently, because I had reported it lost/stolen, they couldn't tell me the number of hte person it had gone to as that would be a violation of that person's privacy, as they couldn't know that the phone was not being used legally. "Whatever" I thought, but then I asked, won't it be on my bill? And yes, yes it is. What's more the helpful guy even pointed out that I could look it up on the vodafone website. So them not telling me seems kinda pointless. Also, I'm not sure if I buy their logic anyway.
Is there any reasonable assumption everytime you answer the phone that the person calling you is the person paying for the call and that noone else will know what number they called? I think not. But that, as usual, is just me.
Right, to bed, for I must get up early and forage West Melton for carpet.
And booth babes.

"Also, I'm not sure if I buy there logic anyway"
