Longer, More Expensive

Behold, the iPOD Photo

Well for a long long time, I've been whoring myself for iPOD action. Mmmm iPOD. But I have always been just a little (a lot) nervous of buying a mp3 player with a sub 8 hour battery life. I'm not sure exactly why, but for me, the battery life needed to be at least 12 hours. This is largely arbitary, but seemed pretty good. It meant that you could listen to it for an eight hour working day, plus travel to and from work. Well, that was the sort of thinking I was working on.

And so it came to pass that Apple brought out the latest (currently) and greatest (currently) iPOD and what does it have:

Whether you’re on a transcontinental flight or an extra long hike, if you plan to listen to music for hours and hours, iPod Photo has you covered. Fully charged, it lets you enjoy up to 15 hours of continuous music

Mmm "up to," but no worry, I still think this passes my test. And so it is good.

Additionally, it is all photo ready and can slideshow, with a nice colour screen, and video out so you can pimp it on your tv, but that is not as important to me. I'm all about battery life baby. Yeah.

Check out the press release if you are pretending to work on your thesis.
