Well the open beta of World of Warcraft has come. And there was/is much rejoicing. I know I'm well pleased with the situation. I am currently wandering the hills as a Shaman, resisting my urge to dwarf up and heal the masses. Come retail, on the 23rd however, I doubt I will be able to resist playing a healer, even if I can't be a dwarf (everyone else is keen on Horde Action(tm)) and I can't even be a Tauren Priest neither. However, it is still mighty. Mark, Daz, Quix, and NPT all got their keys and are off and racing, so we have a collection of people to play with. If you didn't manage to get an account, contact me, and I may have one or two (ok, one, and it is Waz that has it) that he created for just such a situation)

Additional might has been added to the sitution by the arrival of a 21" screen. It is like fat fat cable, but of a visual sort, and mad props to Will and his Linux email list contact. Huzzah.

Soccer we won.
