I just missed the minute of silence. Admittedly, I was biking to work, so I may well have been silent. But that sorta misses the point. I try to take today, and ANZAC day seriously, and try to think seriously about what they remind us of. They are important to me in a way I can't really describe, in my mind they have come somewhat to replace the importance that I place on Christian Holy days. Or it could be that it simply makes me feel superiror to those that don't care or don't pay attention. But I hope this is not the case.
